word for the day, 04 05 2017, Isaiah 53:5, We will remember what Christ suffered for us

It is Wednesday, April 5th, TGFT.

Listen to the word of God to us today.

Isaiah 53:5 “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.” (NKJV)
As we approach Holy Week, we are reminded of what Christ suffered for us. He was wounded, He was bruised, He was chastise, and he was whipped. What suffering He experienced for you and for me, We will remember what Christ did for us.

Prayer for the day– Thank you for the cross Lord, Thank for the nailed pierced hands. This we pray in Jesus name. Amen.
