word for the day, 10 14 2016, Ecclesiastes 11:8, Birthday Medz

(Todays word reproduced from 10 14 2014-written by Charlise Washington)

It is Friday, October 14th. TGFT. A red letter day.

Today is a special day indeed. Today is the day our Father God in Heaven blessed us with a father, husband, grandfather, co-worker, brother, son, elder, son-in-law, uncle, friend who can count as many years on this earth as there are minutes in an hour. Happy Birthday to my dear dad, Charles Washington! Congrats on this big milestone and thank you for living your life as a true testament to the purpose God has for our lives.
Ecclesiastes 11:8, “So if a person lives many years, let him rejoice in them all”
There is no doubt that my dad has lived many years, and can truly say that he is rejoicing in this fact. My father’s days on this earth have been many, and he has thoroughly proven to be a faithful steward of God. For this he has much to rejoice in. May we his children live our lives like my father, Charles Washington.
Prayer for the Day: Father, let us find hope and joy in your presence. Help us to wholeheartedly grasp at opportunities to live our lives to the fullest in remembrance of your sacrifice and death for us. We pray that my dad, Brother Washington will continue to enjoy many more years on this earth and continue to rejoice in them all. Amen.
