Listen to the word of God to us today

John 14:8 “Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.” (KJV).

I love the word sufficeth us. What does that mean? It means when we get a glimpse of who God is, we will be totally satisfied. It is enough for us when we get a knowledge of God. God reveals himself is in his word. Do you know Him?

Prayer for the day: Father, thank you for the revelation of who you are in your word. This we pray in Jesus name, Amen.
