word for the day, 07 05 2016, Matt. 25:18, Use what God give to honor Him

(Today’s word respectfully submitted by minister Donna Francis from Life Tab. AFB)
It is Tuesday, July 5th. TGFT.

Listen to the word of God to us today

(18) “But the one who had received one talent went out and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money in it. (Read the parable in Matthew 25:13-30).”

At times when we compare ourselves with others we may feel that God has short-changed us. So instead of using what we have to enable ourselves and others, we tend to wallow in self-pity and murmurings. The number of talents /gifts /possessions, etc. given to each one isn’t as important as each one using ALL that he has received to honor his master.

PRAYER: Jehovah, Giver of good gifts, teach us to be grateful and gracious with whatever you give us. AMEN.

THOUGHT: Quality will always supersede quantity.
