word for the day 05 30 2016, John 10:10b Happy Memorial Day

(Today’s word respectfully reproduced from May 30, 2011 written by Charles Washington)
Good morning Family
It is Monday, memorial day, a day to reflect on the great contribution, and sacrifice made by the many men and women who serve and has serve this great country of the USA. We are the recipients of freedom because of the many who gave their lives in service. Thank God for the USA.
There is another who gave his life for us. The Lord Jesus Christ, gave his life for us, when he hung on that tree at Easter time. Today, there is life everlasting in Christ Jesus. the bible tells us that he came into the world for the express purpose of dying for our sins. May we on this day be reminded too of the great sacrifice that was made by Jesus for our salvation.
John 10:10b “I am come that he might have life, and have life more abundantly” (KJV)
what great love God has shown for us, in sending Jesus not only to this earth, but that he should suffer and die for us. Hallelujah what a redeemer.
may the Lord richly bless you.
Prayer for the Day:Father, thank you for Jesus who died so that we might live. This we pray in Jesus name, Amen.
