word for the day 03 29 2016, John 20:24-25, Doubting Tomas

It is Tuesday, March 29th. TGFT.
Listen to the word of the Lord to us today
John 20:24-25 “Now Thomas also known as Didymus, one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came.

So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!”But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.” (NIV)

Doubting Thomas would not believe that Jesus was alive until he physically see him. Jesus word to him was ‘Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe. Remember if Christ be not risen our faith is vain, believing is seeing that Jesus Christ is no longer dead, but risen from the dead, Hallelujah.

Prayer for the day: Father, how we thank you for Jesus who died and rose again for or salvation. This we pray in Jesus name, Amen.
