word for the day 03 02 2016, Hebrews 2:9, Forever Jesus is glorified

It is Wednesday, March 2nd. TGFT.
Listen to the word of the Lord to us today
Hebrews 2:9 “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.” (NKJV)
Why did Jesus leave heavens glory, and come to earth to die? It is because of His love for us. Consider today the blessing that is ours because Jesus came to earth, suffered, died and rose again for you and for me. Today we say Hallelujah for the cross. Jesus is alive and forever glorified, and forever lifted high.

Prayer for the day: Lord, we thank you for the cross and we sing hallelujah, for you are glorified and lifted high. This we pray in Jesus name, Amen.
