word for the day, 01 11 2015, Matthew 6:20-21, God’s Word is a treasure

It is Monday, January 11th, 2016. TGFT.
Listen to the word to us today

Matthew 6:20-21 “But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (KJV)

Treasures on earth is good. Treasures in heaven is far better. Treasures on earth are short term. (anybody saw the big drop in the stock market last week?) Treasures in heaven are eternal. Treasures on earth are not secure and can be easily lost. Treasures in heave are secured and safe. Therefore be wise and lay up treasures in heaven. May I say finally that God’s WORD is supreme treasure, and that is what we offer here every today. Treasure it.

Prayer for the day:- Father, help us to store treasures in heaven where it is secure and eternal. This we pray in Jesus name. AMEN
