word for the day, 06 22 2015, Psalm 40:2, A firm foundation

It is Monday June 22nd. We had a great Fathers Day, God be praised. Thanks to the kids and our wives for a truly wonderful barbeque, we will remember this one for a very long time.
Listen to the word for God for us today

Psalm 40:2 “ He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.” (NIV)
Who remember this song: He lifted me out of the miry clay, He planted feet on the rock to stay, and that is the reason why, I sing and I shout, My Jesus came down, down down and lifted me up, up ,up. What an exchange. Jesus left the splendor of heaven and came down to earth to lift us out of the slimy pit, out of our sins and place on a solid footing. Praise the Lord, Hallelujah.

Prayer for the day:- Father in heaven, how we thank you for delivering us from sin, this we pray in JESUS name. Amen.
