word for the day 05 30 2015, Hebrews 4:15, Victory over temptation

It is Saturday May 30, 2015. Preparation Day. We are back in the USA. Had a great vacation in the DR. Three things stand out. 1. The day we left was Craig’s birthday, and the pilot announce it at the start of the flight. Every night at the different restaurant they sang happy birthday for him in various stye. 2. Some of the girls were on a photo shoot. They were taking numerous pictures left, right and center. The beach was just their background for pictures. 3. We could not get Charla out of the water. At the pools and at the different beach. Her father and mother will have to get a pool for her at home. Thank God for the time well spent in resting, recreation, and relaxation. We could say more, but we said enough.
Listen to the word for God for us today

Hebrews 4:15 “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weakness, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.” (NIV)
Jesus our example and high priest was tempted, yet he did not sin. Let us be comforted today knowing that yes we will be tempted, but we have a high priest who will help us to be victorious over our temptations. Let us hold firm the faith we have in Jesus.

Prayer for the day:- Our Father in heaven, help us in our temptations to be victorious. This we pray in JESUS name. Amen.
