word for the day 05 07 2015, Psalm 37:25, Thanks to God

Today’s word respectfully submitted by Claudette Washington

It is Thursday, May 7th. TGF.
Listen to the word of God to us.

Psalm 37: 25 “I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging bread.” (NIV)

Yesterday I celebrated another birthday on the topside of earth; to my children and everyone in their generation I’m an old lady: To my mom: God bless her soul, I was always a young woman. Age is relative, but I’ve been around this world long enough to prove that what God’s words in Psalm 37:25 says are true.

Thanks be to God for His unspeakable gifts. As a child I dreamed about having a comfortable life for my family, and myself, never for one second did my thoughts wander to the hand of God in my life; today I can say with surety, He has done far more than I ever thought or dreamed about. TODAY AFTER ALL THESE YEARS LATER ALL PRAISES BE TO HIM.

Thanks to all Charles friends who read this daily post and extended birthday wishes!!!
Prayer for the day:- Father, thank you for your goodness, mercy and grace. Your are good. This we pray in JESUS name. Amen.
