word for the day 03 17 2015, Psalm 119:103, God’s word is sweet

It is Tuesday March 167th. TGFT

Listen to the word of God to us today.

Psalm 119:103 “How sweet are Your WORDS to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!” (NKJV) (upper case letters-my emphasis)
The word taste is figuratively used to express the experience of the goodness of God that is found in his WORD. Since God’s WORD is sweet to our taste, we should desire more and more of it. Trust you find God’s WORD to be a delight and sweet to your taste, that is one of the reason for the WORD for the day.

Prayer for the day: Father your word is sweet. We desire your word to to satisfy our souls. This we pray in Jesus name. Amen.
