word for the day 03 03 2015, Proverbs 22:6, Teach the children

It is Tuesday, March 3rd. TGFT.

Listen to the word of God to us today.

Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (KJV)

I like to go back to the king James Version for the word like this. I also take God at his word. Train up a child in the way he should go. Start off the child. Teach the children when they are small. Bend the tree when it is young.
I am claiming this promise today- when they are old, they will not depart from the way. Hallelujah, praise the Lord. Some of our children are not OLD yet, but we hold the word to be true, when they are old, they will not depart from the way they should go. Amen. Let those who have ear to hear, hear the word of the Lord.

Prayer for the day:- Father, your word is true, your word is sure. We accept your word and are obedient to your word. Help us to train up our children in the way they should go, and know that when they are old they will not depart from that way. This we pray in Jesus name. Amen.
