word for the day 02 09 2015, Matthew 25:23, ‘Well Done’

It is Monday, February 9th. TGFT.

Listen to the word of God to us today.

Matthew 25:23 “…Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in change of many things. come and share your master’s happiness! (NIV)
‘Well done.’ What beautiful words from the master? To hear well done is one of the sweetest words we ever can hear. I always remember one of the very first building I designed, did the drawings, and on completion was complimented on a job ‘well done.’ It give such a sense of satisfaction. I drove out of my way to past that building when I was in Jamaica. How I look forward to the day when our Lord and our master says:-“WELL DONE.”

Prayer for the day:– Father, help us to be diligent in the work you have given us to do, know that a day is coming when we will account for the things we have done. This we pray in JESUS name. Amen.
