word for the day 02 06 2015, Romans 8:18, No comparison

It is Friday, February 6th. TGIF.

Listen to the word of God to us today.

Romans 8:18 “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” (NIV)
Presently we may suffer, but there is a future glory coming our way. Our present maybe bleak, but our future is bright. Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning. Yes we may experience trials and trouble now, but better days are coming.

Prayer for the day:– Father, thank you for the assurance that our suffering will not last forever, but that we have glory awaiting us up ahead. This we pray in JESUS name. Amen.
