word for the day 01 29 2015, Jeremiah 17:8, planted by the river

It is Thursday, January 29th. TGFT. We made it to Miami after being cancelled because of the storm. Thank the Lord.
Listen to the word of God to us today.

Jeremiah 17:8 “They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fail to bear fruit.” (NIV)
When we trust in the Lord, we are like a tree planted by the river. When we trust the Lord, we put our roots into his gracious in God’s goodness. Trusting in the Lord cause us to have green leaves all the time, because we are planted by the waters. hallelujah, we do not have to participate in the drought in this world when w e are planted by the river of God’s word.

Prayer for the day:– Father, thank you for the confidence we have when we trust in you, we know we will be like a tree planted by the waters. This we pray in JESUS name. Amen.
