word for the day 01 27 2015, Mark 4:39, Peace in the Storm

Alert- The snow blizzard is here in the North East. I am home alone as Claudette had to stay at work after her shift. I slept through a great part of the storm last night. Again, If you live in this region-please be very careful outside. If you live outside this area-Please pray for us.

Today’s word respectfully reprinted from word published 5-25-2014

It is Tuesday, January 27th. TGFT. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Listen to the word of God to us today.

Mark 4:39 And he arose, and rebuke the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, BE STILL. And the wind ceased, and there was a calm.” (KJV) (my emphasis)
In the midst of the disciples storm, the Lord Jesus came and give them peace and comfort, and a miracle. This shows Jesus power, authority, and ability to calm our storms. Today whatever you face our encounter, be reminded he can calm our storm. He said the storm BE STILL. We can say to our storm, ‘IN Jesus name- BE STILL.’

Prayer for the day:– Father in heaven, you are great, you do miracles so great, there is no one else like you. Help us today to know and to trust you to still our storms. This we pray in JESUS name. Amen.
