word for the day 01 04 2015, Exodus 15:6-7, What a mighty God we serve!

It is Sunday January 4th. The Lord’s Day. Let us come before his presence with singing and into church with praise.

Listen to the word of God to us today
Exodus 15:6-7 “Your right hand, O Lord, is glorious in power. Your right hand, O Lord, smashes the enemy. In the greatness of your majesty, you overthrow those who rise against you. You unleash your blazing fury, it consumes them like straw.” (New living translation-NLT)
This song of Moses and Miriam after the people of Israel escaped from Egypt by the mighty hand of God was a praise Hymn to God. Today we serve this great God and he is able to do exceedingly above what we are able to ask or think. What a mighty God we serve? Praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, Hallelujah.
Prayer for the day: Father, we praise you, we adore you and we worship you. Accept the praise of our lip. This we pray in Jesus name. Amen.
